The Freedom Certification is a live, hands-on, interactive, and powerful training program for coaches. You will learn how to blend traditional and pure coaching skills with ministry and inner healing tools so you can help hurting people encounter the presence of God and find freedom in Christ.

The Freedom Certification Training Program is a 12-month program that will equip leaders to minister and coach their clients to overcome obstacles in their lives and find freedom in Christ.
We created this training because there isn't another program out there that teaches these tools and equips leaders in this blended model.
We found that inner healing is powerful, but people often don't know how to encounter God's presence on their own, so they become dependent on a minister. Coaching is effective, but without encounters with God, they go back to old patterns of bondage. But when a client has the help of a leader to meet with God as their coach, they find lasting freedom!

FREEDOM FOUNDATIONS _______________
We will explore the foundations of coaching and ICF Core Competencies in an inner healing model. Your mentor, Jill Monaco, is a PCC-credentialed coach with the ICF. You'll solidify your understanding of the biblical foundations for Christian coaching and your authority as a child of God. You will apply those skills to how you serve clients, using professional listening skills and asking powerful questions.
FREEDOM FRAMEWORK _________________
People are hurting and ready to let go of their past pain and embrace their purpose. You will learn and use the two parts of the Freedom Framework as a foundation in all your sessions. You'll learn to identify the key phrases people say that keep them in bondage (The Enemy's Plan) and have the confidence that you can help them rewrite their old story and find the glory of God in their lives (God's Plan).
FREEDOM MINDSETS __________________
You will be trained to help people align their thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and actions with the heart of God. Helping clients learn to no longer use discipline or shame to motivate themselves into good habits will help them activate the power of God in their lives. Clients will experience a deepening relationship with the Lord, embrace the power of vulnerability, walk in their identity in Christ, and be who God created them to be.
FREEDOM COACH MODEL_______________
Each client struggles with different strongholds. Using the Freedom Coach Model™, you can create a custom plan for your clients. You'll learn 13 tools to help clients hear God's voice and encounter His presence. You'll tackle subjects like fear, rejection, shame, anger, family patterns, unforgiveness, sin, family of origin wounds, and more. This is the heart of the program, so we will spend about nine months preparing you for any challenge a client may face. You'll have Biblical strategies to help them break agreements, repent, renounce, and receive God's grace.

What Makes The Freedom Coach Model Different?

WHAT TO EXPECT
2025 Cohort Dates:
We will meet from January – December 2025 (with holidays and June-July lighter schedule). We aim to meet twice a month.
Online Training:
You’ll gather up to 12 students as a cohort for 32 live weekly online meetings lasting 2 hours each. Meetings will include instructor-led group teaching and discussion and smaller breakout groups where you’ll practice skill-building activities.
Commitment:
This robust training will require approximately 2-4 hours of rewarding and fun assignments, reading, and practice outside of the cohort per week.
Triads and Pairs:
You will meet with 2 -3 other people outside the program for ongoing practice and skill development.
1:1 with Jill:
You will meet with Jill once per quarter to ask questions and get more support.
Workbooks:
You’ll receive a Training Workbook to support you during and after the program ends, which includes client agreements and business tools. Plus, you’ll receive a Client Workbook filled with worksheets, activations, and prayers for them to do independently.
Community:
You’ll have access to a private online community to receive support between sessions, all the course materials, and videos.
Graduation and Certification:
These are two different steps. Those who successfully complete the training will have evidence of:
- Attendance – 90% or more of training sessions
- Active Participation – In trainings and activations
- Assignments – Complete and show an understanding of the concepts
- Assessment – Jill Monaco will assess each coach’s competency
- Hours – 100 Hours with clients using the Freedom Framework and the Coach Model are required before certification (but not graduation).
- Evidence of a strong Christian walk
Dynamic Training and Mentoring
Incorporating Master level teaching, education, and training by Jill Monaco, PCC, for over 54 hours of live group training and not pre-recorded video tutorials. You'll have personalized feedback, group discussions, and practice. For those seeking ICF CCEs, participants should check with ICF for what is accepted on the portfolio path.
Professional Coach Credentials
For qualified participants, it provides biblically-based certification and the use of our coveted trademarked name and logo in all their marketing materials: "Certified Freedom Practioner™," "Certified Associate Freedom Coach™. (Professional and Master Coach levels coming in 2026.)
Proven Freedom Framework
The most rewarding experience is seeing the gospel lived out. People will receive significant breakthroughs after using multiple Freedom tools. You'll walk away with everything you need to coach your clients through this model, including worksheets, guides, prompts, and more—a complete Signature Program.
Dynamic Training and Mentoring
Incorporating Master level teaching, education, and training by Jill Monaco, PCC for over 80 hours of live training and not pre-recorded video tutorials. You'll have personalized feedback, group discussions and practice. For those who are seeking ICF CCEs, participants will receive the maximum 40 hours allowed (Also for ICCI).
Professional Coach Credentials
For qualified participants, it provides biblically-based certification in The Freedom Coach Model and use of our coveted trademark in all their marketing materials. Including “Certified Associate Freedom Coach” and “Certified Freedom Minister.” (Professional and Master level coming in 2025 and 2026.)

Payment Plan:
• $1,000 upon acceptance into the program, followed by 12 payments of $833.
Payment is due only after acceptance into the program. Enrollment will close when the cohort is filled, and you'll be put on a waiting list for the next one.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the process of applying?
Once you fill out the application and submit your references, we will review it and send you an email with the next steps within 10 days. If you're application is accepted, you'll meet with Jill on Zoom so you can ask additional questions and we can make sure this program is a good fit. If all goes well, you will join our next cohort!
Will I receive a certification at the end of the 12 months?
If you successfully pass all the requirements, you will receive a certificate of graduation. You will receive an application to become a "Certified Freedom Practitioner" or "Certified Associate Freedom Coach." Most requirements will be met by completing the training, but you will need to gain enough client hours before applying for certification.
Are there prerequisites?
There are two paths to certification:
ICF Certified Coaches who have completed Levels 1, 2, or 3 most likely have met the prerequisites and can receive a discount toward the program as they already have some Freedom Foundations skills.
Non-ICF Coaches (which includes most leaders, counselors, pastors, and inner healing ministers): If you have a counseling license, ministry training, or have your coach certification from an organization that is not ICF certified, you are required to go through the entire Freedom Certification Training Program.
Do I get ICF credit hours?
This program hopes to apply to ICF for 40 hours of ICF CCEs. If our curriculum is accepted, they have told us it will be retroactive. You will receive documentation to turn into ICF for the "portfolio path." Since we are not yet approved by ICF, there are no guarantees for how they may evaluate our program or change their requirements.
Do I need to sign an Agreement?
Yes, for those accepted into the program, you will be able to review and sign the License Agreement before starting the program.
Can I cancel or receive a refund after joining?
No, due to the fact that you receive the program materials from the start, the program is non-refundable. Because we will turn people away your spot is secured for you so payment plans will continue whether you chose to continue with the program or not. Please prayerfully consider your decision to join us!
Is there a Facebook Group?
We will use Facebook for building relationships, announcements, questions, and accountability. However, you do not have to use Facebook to participate.
How interactive are the trainings?
We aim for 60% of the training to be interactive. You'll have breakout groups, practice activities, and cohort-level assignments that are all a part of this group training experience.
What happens if I miss a training?
You can miss up to 4 in-person training sessions. Since each training is built upon the previous one, you'll need to watch the replay before the next training and do extra homework to share what you learned.
How long will I have access to the training sessions?
You will have access to the training sessions for the duration of the program.
If I am certified, how can I use the resources and certification name?
Once you graduate, you can use all of the materials. Once you are certified, you may use the title that applies to your qualifications: "Freedom Practitioner" or "Certified Associate Freedom Coach" in your branding and marketing.
You may not use "Freedom Coaching®" as it is trademarked by Jill Monaco Ministries. The Agreement outlines how you can market your new certification. You are not released to train others to use the Freedom Coach Model or the Freedom Framework. Once accepted into the program, please refer to the Certification Agreement for more details on how to use or share the tools.
Will I need to purchase other materials?
Yes, you will have a reading list and you are responsible for acquiring those books.
Who will see my assignments?
Jill Monaco will be the only one who evaluates your assignments unless otherwise noted ahead of time.
Will I receive referrals?
Those who have completed the program and received certification are eligible to apply for our referral and partnership program. Participants are not guaranteed to be a part of the partnership program by completing the certification. If you are accepted into our partnership program, you will be listed on our website and eligible for referrals.**
** Those in our referral program must participate in continued education through Jill Monaco Ministries, agree to our Code of Conduct, and live out our Statement of Faith as outlined in the Agreements.
Do I need to be a Christian to apply?
This content is based on Biblical truths, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. You will not get value from this program if you are not a Christian. We also require our participants to agree to our Statement of Faith and abide by our Code of Conduct.
Do you offer scholarships?
We do not offer any discounts or scholarships at this time. We hope this program will attract major donors who want to sponsor a coach in the future. You are more than welcome to find a sponsor – if they donate any amount to Jill Monaco Ministries on your behalf, 100% of that amount will be taken off your tuition and they will receive a tax deductible letter. You may want to fundraise through another means like GoFundMe, or asking your church or the company you work for.
